These past few weeks have been super chaotic for me.  Thankfully, this past Friday I was able to party with dear friends and help celebrate the one and only David Marino’s 26th Birthday.  For those of you not in the know, David has been a relentless force in NYC nightlife throwing some of the biggest and best parties I’ve ever had the pleasure of DJing  Enough with the jibba-jabba-let the photos do the talking:

I can’t disclose where I’ll be celebrating the actual New Year but starting at 1am you can find me rocking and my squad of bandits rocking out at Gallery Bar. They have generously agreed to a $60 open bar for any friend (and friend of friends) of mine.  I’ll also have bottles and models in the DJ booth for those to impatient or inebriated to wait in line.

Thanksgiving Eve 2009 found me rocking a 4 turntable set at The Hotel On Rivington with DJ Ian Boyd.  Needless to say it was a night that will not easily be forgotten.  Playing to a sold out crowd at a venue with some of the best views of New York City combine to make it one of the best parties of the year. Rounding out the night was a special appearance on the extra decks by DJ Jon Weinner.

For those out of the loop, word on the street is that we’ve been rocking out at Gallery Bar on Fridays for the past month.  What started as a small gathering as grown into a serious party that rocks well into the dawn hours of the morning. This week is no exception-don’t forget to say your with Phil, DJ M, or Reason at the door to avoid paying cover!

I came up with this blend a while back-I drop it live all the time and it is usually pretty well received by the crowd. I was recently asked to record it after I mixed it live for the HiFi Cartel Preview at Mr. West. So, here it is.

On June 24th Reason, HiFiCartel,Loose World, Adam Tensta, DJ Price, Nick Catchdubs and myself took over Mr. West for a star studded affair. Nick, Price, and I manned the decks for the night and with all of our friends in attendance the night got pretty rowdy.  The highlight of the night was Adam performing his hit single “my cool” with a riotous crowd. Thanks to everyone who made night possible!
